Even if there has been no rain for over a month at Maredsous, weather forecasts are not really favorable for the weekend ahead: just think to bring clothes for rain :-(

Geared bikes

After consultations among members of the organizing committee and given the imposing elevation prepared by our local organizer for the saturday ride, the use of geared MTBs will be exceptionally allowed during SSEC 2011. However, not to skew too much the results, only bicycles with a single ring will be allowed to participate in the ride.

Après concertation entre les membres du comité d'organisation et étant donné le dénivelé impressionnant préparé par notre traceur local pour la ride de samedi, l'utilisation de VTTs à vitesses sera exceptionnellement autorisée lors du SSEC 2011. Cependant, pour ne pas trop fausser les résultats, seuls les vélos équipés d'un seul plateau pourront participer à la ride.
